Clinical and Research Background
Dr. Kumar is a medical geneticist and molecular pathologists. His clinical focus is on development and deployment of clinical grade genetic testing such as exome and genome sequencing. His research interests include development of bioinformatic methods for somatic and germline variant interpretation, development of analytic methods for “-omics” datasets, and optimizing genetic test utilization for patients, hospitals and whole populations.
