Clinic Cytogenetic Technologist (UWMC, Days, Full Time)

This role sets up and harvests cultures from cells to be used for cytogenetic analysis, performs karyotyping and FISH analysis, reviews patient request forms, and trains new staff, among other duties. 

Clinical Lab Coordinator: Accessioning (UWMC, Days, Full Time)

This role performs critical tasks related to Accessioning in Anatomic Pathology, including specimen pickup, receipt, and logging from ORs and ERs, accessioning internal and external specimens, and monitoring expected specimens and initiating follow-up for missing or delayed specimens, among other duties.

Open to department employees only: This role provides information, technical assistance, and guidance on test availability, composition, selection, and interpretation; assists with the resolution of genomic and cytogenetic testing issues; coordinates indicated follow-up testing for at-risk family members; and assists in implementing new workflows, software, and IT infrastructure updates, among other duties.

Medical Lab Scientist 2: Point of Care Testing (UWMC, Days, 50% FTE)
This role coordinates, reviews, and evaluates the POCT QA/QC Program; visits testing locations to record and resolve issues; assists the POCT Leadership Committee in determining the need for new methodology; and maintains test menus for each test location, among other duties.
Variant Review Scientist 1 (UWMC/Hybrid, Day Shift, Full Time)
This role performs genomic data analysis, review, and variant interpretation for molecular testing and assists lab directors with reporting of test results for various genetics and cancer diagnostic assays (e.g., Exome sequencing and OncoPlex).
