Clinical and Research Background
Dr. Liao has more than ten years of clinical and management experiences in the laboratory medicine and newborn screening center. She was a Medical Laboratory Scientist who trained in Taiwan. After obtaining her PhD in Clinical Medicine, she completed postdoctoral fellowship training in Clinical Chemistry at the University of Washington and Seattle Children Hospital. She is board certified as a Clinical Chemist by both the American Board of Clinical Chemistry and National Registry of Certified Chemists. She continues to focus on translation of the analytical power of mass spectrometry to real clinical applications.
