Clinical and Research Background
Dr. Farid Moussavi-Harami is a general cardiologist with interest in treatment of coronary artery disease and heart failure. His research focuses on studying mechanisms of cardiomyopathies (disease of the heart muscle) using molecular, biomechanical and computational approaches. Overall goal of his research program is to have improved and more targeted treatment for patients with cardiomyopathies.
