Clinical and Research Background
Dr. O'Shea's research focuses on incorporating new technologies and methods to improve molecular testing, with the goal of providing faster and more accurate genetic testing results. He has a long-standing interest in using cell-free DNA as a potential biomarker in a variety of clinical situations. He also has an interest in developing long-read sequencing as a platform to comprehensively evaluate disease-causing genetic aberrations.
