Description
The HV1DNA assay is a qualitative assay used to detect cell-associated HIV-1 DNA in whole blood. The HV1DNA assay is intended to assist in diagnosing HIV-1 infection in infants and children less than 2 years of age or for individuals taking Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) with confirmed HIV antibodies and undetectable HIV-1 plasma RNA.
