Refrigerate serum
Outside Laboratory: Centrifuge, remove serum, Aliquot 1 mL, (minimum 0.7 mL). Refrigerate serum. Sample stability up to 21 days for serum in refrigerator. Sample stability up to 14 days for serum at room temperature. Frozen samples are suboptimal but accepted.
