Graduate Program (MBD): Student Retreat
The Graduate Program hosts two retreats each year - one at the end of the Summer quarter and one at the end of the Winter quarter. Students gather to give presentations of their research work as 10 minute PowerPoint presentations. Senior students present at the Sumer meeting and more junior students present at the Winter meeting. Each retreat includes lunch and a fun activity. In recent memory the activities have included a tour of Lake Union aboard the Argosy Spirit of Seattle, cruising Lake Washington on an electric boat, and an afternoon at the Experience Music Project at the Seattle Center.
