  • Path Grand Rounds 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm   A Tissue Assay of Drug Resistance: Androgen Receptor Variants in Prostate Cancer

Larry True, MD and Elahe Mostaghel, MD, PhD, Multiple Departments, University of Washington

    Location: UWMC, NE110 conference room

    Summary: Why Attend?
To learn from a pathologist and clinician/molecular biologist how to develop a tissue-based immunohistochemical assay for use in deciding what drug to give a patient with metastatic cancer. We shall discuss the design and validation of IHC assays for androgen receptor v7 as a potential predictor of non-response to androgen deprivation therapy.
