Clinical and Research Background
Following his fellowship training, Dr. Bankson took on increasing responsibilities directing clinical chemistry services with colleagues at the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle and American Lake, WA. From 1989 to present, he has taught in the Medical Laboratory Science program at the University of Washington and supported the Clinical Chemistry Fellowship program. Formerly, he headed the multi-disciplinary Specimen Procurement Division in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.
