Clinical and Research Background
Dr. Khor’s lab is interested in novel pathways that regulate the balance between tolerance and inflammation, and how these are perturbed in the setting of disease. A central interest of the lab is how immune responses are dysregulated in people with Down syndrome, and how this informs therapeutic hypotheses in people with and without Down syndrome. The lab also has longstanding interest in druggable pathways that regulate inflammation and Treg differentiation, including DYRK1A and CDK8.
