Clinical and Research Background
Dr. Paulson is responsible for tissue procurement as well as the implementation and clinical evaluation of advanced technologies for molecular diagnostics in a range of diseases, including both somatic and germline (inherited) disorders.
What excites her most about her job is the opportunity to collaborate with her clinical colleagues to provide state-of-the-art medical care. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Paulson is passionate about medical education at the local and national level. She has been involved in the education of medical laboratory scientists (MLS), pathology assistants, medical students, and residents.
