Clinical and Research Background

Dr. Biggerstaff has directed multiple types and sizes of clinical cytogenetics/cytogenomics laboratories through the course of her career; she has experience in both pre- and post-natal cytogenomic testing, as well as in oncology, to include both solid and liquid tumor characterization. She has extensive experience in test development and validation as well as work-flow analysis for laboratory efficiency and quality.
