minimum: 0.5 mL serum
Processing
Centrifuge sample and transfer serum to a separate plastic vial. Refrigerate serum.
Sendouts:
- Order SKPH Test: RPR Quantitative (under "Syphilis Serology").
- Include the ordering provider's full name and NPI number on the requisition.
- Send refrigerated sample with a completed requisition to Seattle King County Public Health Lab, located at Harborview Medical Center Basement West Clinic Wing.
Stability: Refrigerated: Preferred.
