DEI Observership

Program Description

The pathology observership program is a one-month observational opportunity available to one international medical graduate (IMG) to observe the University of Washington Laboratory Medicine and Pathology physicians, residents and fellows in practice. The goal of the observership is to provide the opportunity to observe and learn from our faculty and staff, gain insight into our anatomic pathology and laboratory practices, and enhance your professional development in the field of pathology. Examples of subspecialty rotations that you may participate in include: breast, GI, GYN, head/neck/lung, or autopsy. However, the exact rotations will depend on availability of space and faculty.
