Medical student participation in dissection and study of autopsy and surgical pathology cases. Cases worked up under senior staff, including dissection, microscopic examination, and literature review. Attendance at pathology conferences and seminars expected.
Typical 4 week schedule, services may be assigned in different days/weeks depending on availability:
1st week: GI and Hepatic Pathology & Dermatopathology
2nd week: Autopsy/Cardiac
3rd week: Clinical Laboratory Pathology (through LABM 680)
4th week: Bone & Soft Tissue, Head Neck and Lung, or Breast
